Villeri was born in Italy but his famile immigrated to Cannes in 1905 and he studied there. In 1912 he submitted a painting to the Salon des Artistes français. In 1922 he met Pierre Bonnard and shortly after he had his first axhibition, Picabia, Villon and Crotti, then Eluard, René Char and Jean Lescure. In 1934, he joind the "abstraction-création" group . In 1947, he took part in the Réalités Nouvelles exhibitions. Later he showed his work all over Europe and in Brazil and the U.S.A.
